🎯Freezing-drying stage

It is usually divided into three stages: Pre-freezing, Vacuum drying and Defrosting.

Pre-freezing: Quickly freeze the substance to a low temperature.

Vacuum drying: Convert the ice from a solid state directly into a gaseous state by controlling temperature and pressure.

Defrosting: Heat the substance to make the ice detach from the cold trap.



📈The workflow is as follows:

1️⃣ Turn on the freeze dryer: Start the freeze dryer, plug in the power and turn on the main power supply.

2️⃣ Prepare materials: Place the materials that need be freeze dried into the working chamber of the freeze dryer. These can be foods, medicines, or other items that require freeze-drying.

3️⃣ Pre-cooling: Before starting the actual freeze-drying process, a pre-cooling step is carried out. By lowering the chamber temperature, the moisture content in the chamber is reduced.

4️⃣ Freezing: Cool the material to an extremely low temperature. This can be achieved using a coolant (such as liquid nitrogen). The purpose of freezing is to rapidly freeze the material into a solid state in a vacuum environment.

5️⃣ Vacuum: After the material has been frozen, the depressurization process begins. The ambient pressure is reduced to an extremely low level, allowing water to directly transform from a solid state to a gaseous state without passing through a liquid state.

6️⃣ Heating: In a vacuum environment, heat the working chamber of the freeze-drying machine. Continuously heat to transform the moisture in the material from a solid state to a gaseous state, thereby completing the freeze-drying process.

7️⃣ Ventilation: Once the moisture in the material has been freeze-dried, stop heating and introduce gas through the inlet valve into the chamber to break the vacuum state.

8️⃣ Reaction: Depending on the requirements, some reactions can be carried out on the material after venting. For instance, adding other components or controlling the temperature and humidity can be used to alter the properties of the material.

9️⃣ Freeze-drying completed: After going through the above steps, the processing of the freeze-dried material is finished. It can be used as a product with a longer shelf life, or it can be packaged and stored.
